Located in Pipers River, the Bay of Fires winery was founded with the vision that Tasmania would one day be the pre-eminent region in Australia to produce cool climate wines. Roughly 25% of the fruit for the Bay of Fires brand comes from the property with the remainder of the fruit sourced from differing regions of Tasmania. The Bay of Fires site is a significant source of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for both table wine and sparkling production. Additional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are sourced from nearby vineyards in Pipers River, West Tamar, Rokeby, the Coal River, Upper Derwent, and Huon Valleys.
